Georgia Hall is relishing the opportunity to make her Solheim Cup debut when the tournament gets underway on Friday.

Hall is one of four rookies featuring in Annika Sorenstam's European side of Iowa, with the 21-year-old topping the Solheim Cup qualification standings after a string of top-five finishes in 2017.

The Englishwoman was keen to put thoughts about her appearance at Des Moines Golf and Country Club to one side during her tied-third finish at the Ricoh Women's British Open, but is now looking to build on an impressive campaign.

"It's kind of a dream come true for me to represent Europe and play in the Solheim Cup," Hall said. "It's my first time, so I'm really excited to get going tomorrow.

"I'm playing well, so just got to keep it going really. I think all of us worked really hard to get in this position and to be on this team.

"When we're on the first tee, I'm just going to take it all in and enjoy the moment, enjoy people clapping for us or not clapping for us. I'm just going to go out there and play golf the way I normally do."

Florentyna Parker is also making her maiden appearance this week and admits she isn't sure how she is going to deal with the atmosphere at the first tee.

"I mean everyone tells us it's the best feeling ever, but I think we won't really be fully prepared until we're standing on that tee," Parker told a pre-tournament press conference on Thursday.

"We always have first tee experiences every tournament we play, especially in the major, but I think this is going to be even more special.

"Obviously all the spectators we're expecting and the fans, obviously there will be more one-sided, but I think we need to turn that into a positive and basically enjoy that first tee."
