Charley Hull has confirmed that she will be “100% ready” to compete in the Sunday singles at the Solheim Cup.
Hull featured in both sessions during the opening day and aggravated an ongoing wrist injury during her morning match, leading to the 21-year-old being rested from the Saturday foursomes.
The Englishwoman also sat out of the afternoon matches, sparking speculation around Des Moines Golf and Country Club that she may have to pull out from the contest.
European captain Annika Sorenstam was quick to quash rumours about any withdrawal, with Hull later adding that she's fully ready to continue her involvement.
"I'm well to play tomorrow," Hull said. I just needed to rest my wrist today, because it was still annoying me a little bit.
"That one shot yesterday hurt it in the rough and Annika though it would be a good idea for me to rest it today, as it was a little bit swollen, but I'll be totally fine for tomorrow.
"I can just concentrate on my own game and I'm confident to go out there."
Hull chipped a bone in her right wrist in March but has continued to play a busy schedule this season, often competing with heavy strapping on her injury.
The injury flared up again Hull pitched out from a severe downslope near a bunker during Friday's opening session, with ice and anti-inflammatories used to reduce the swelling.
