We take a look back at the best of the action from the 2017 European Tour season

From breakthrough wins to career-changing victories, there were plenty of dramatic final rounds during an eventful 2017 on the European Tour.

Desert Swing victories for Sergio Garcia and Tommy Fleetwood would be the first of multiple titles for the pair in 2017, with Garcia going on to claim a maiden major success at the Masters and Fleetwood ending the campaign top of the Race to Dubai.

Graeme Storm claimed the first title of the calendar year by holding off Rory McIlroy in a play-off at the BMW SA Open, just months after thinking he had lost his European Tour playing privileges.

Several players made a long-awaited return to the winner's circle, with Edoardo Molinari securing a first success since 2010 at the Trophee Hassan II and Andres Romero celebrating a first European Tour title for nearly a decade at the BMW International Open.

Tyrrell Hatton and Justin Rose claimed back-to-back titles during the campaign, in a year where new formats were introduced on the European Tour with the inaugural GolfSixes and the World Super 6 in Perth.
