Rickie Fowler hits a hole-in-one on the 17th during practice at Sawgrass ahead of the 2017 Players Championship.

We kick off our countdown of Players Championship 2017 highlights by looking back at a moment of pre-tournament magic from Rickie Fowler.

Fowler has enjoyed plenty of past success at TPC Sawgrass' iconic par-three 17th, birdieing the hole three times during the final round in 2015 to win golf's "fifth major" in 2015.

The American missed the cut a year later but made a fast start to his week in 2017 when playing alongside Justin Thomas and Jimmy Walker in a practice round.

Fowler attacked the flag at the 17th and struck a wedge to within a couple of feet to the pin, before his effort spinning back and dropping into the cup for a hole-in-one.
