After the high drama of Sunday's final round at Turnberry, the European Tour returns to 'normality' with this week's SAS Masters in Sweden. Barseback Country Club, some 20 miles north of Malmo, is flat and exposed yet is anything but boring. A number of its holes run beside the coastline, while others offer 'a parkland feel' with a number of fairways tree-lined. The course, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, was co-designed by Thure Bruce and Donald Steel. It is also hosting a European Tour event for the fourth time in seven seasons. But since it last staged a tournament in 2006, the course has undergone a number of changes. Owner Gosta Carlsson explained: "We have re-built all the bunkers: They are smaller, deeper and placed strategically throughout the golf course and with new grass on the sides of them." And course architect Steel added: "The changes will have a great effect on the look of the course but also strategically. A few of the holes have also been made longer. The par 73 course is now more than 7,000 metres long."

So who could be in contention this week?

Soren Hansen: The talented Dane finished strongly at Turnberry where he tied-for-eighth on Sunday. Dave Horsey: The 24-year-old from Cheshire is a star of the future and will fancy his chances in this fairly moderate field. Raphael Jacquelin: Tied-for-second at Loch Lomond recently and was fifth at Barseback in 2006. Alexander Noren: The up-and-coming Swede would love to break his duck on home soil. Henrik Stenson: Sweden's top player has never won at home although the 33-year-old from Gothenburg did finish second at Barseback five years ago. Marc Warren: Winner of the tournament in 2006 in his only previous trip to Malmo - but has posted four missed cuts in his last six starts.
