Spaniard given all-clear after banging his head

Seve Ballesteros has made a full recovery after falling off a golf cart and banging his head near his home in Pedrena, northern Spain, last week. The five-time major winner has revealed that he spent three days in hospital under observation following the accident last weekend, but told reporters: "I'm recovered now." The 52-year-old Spanish golfing legend was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2008 and was subsequently forced to go through four life-saving operations. He has since made a remarkable recovery and is now back playing golf regularly. Indeed, Ballesteros hopes to make an emotional return to St Andrews - the scene of his 1984 Open Championship triumph - for The Open's 150th anniversary celebration this summer.
