End of season Race to Dubai bonus cut in half

The European Tour's Race to Dubai end-of-season bonus pool is being cut in half from £4.8million to £2.4 million. In addition, only ten players rather than 15 will now share out the extra reward for their year's work. Luke Donald scooped £951,000 for topping the 2011 money list last month, but that will come down to £642,000 this season, while the bonus for coming tenth is to be reduced from £190,000 to £64,000. The payments will be made at the end of the renamed DP World Tour Championship in Dubai from November 22 to 25. However, the prize fund at the European Tour's season finale has been increased to £5.1million from £4.7million, with the winner's cheque going up from £793,000 to £844,000.
