Rebecca Artis carded the lowest round of the week, firing a closing 66 to clinch a two-shot triumph in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.
The 26-year-old Australian rolled in eight birdies as she came from six shots back to claim her second European Tour title at Dundonald Links in Troon.
Artis had started the final round in a tie for eighth, and could even afford a double-bogey five at the fourth hole.
"Sometimes you fight all your life to try and get that first win and sometimes the second win is maybe even harder,” Artis said.“I’ve been playing some really consistent golf since the start of the year, putting myself in contention week in, week out.
"I knew that with the conditions the way they were predicted to be today that if I went out and played some solid golf, then I wouldn’t be far away."
She was one of only two players to break 70 on the final day and finished two ahead of overnight leader Suzann Pettersen, who bogeyed two of the final three holes as she struggled to a two-over 74.
“I played pretty well today and gave myself a lot of chances. It was not on the easy side. For Artis to shoot 66, she definitely deserves to win,” Pettersen said.
Holly Clyburn was the leading Briton in third, also carding a final round 74 as she played the last 12 holes in four-over, with world No 2 Lydia Ko matching Clyburn's score to finish in a tie for fourth.
"I think it was good preparation for the Women’s British Open," Ko said. "I don’t know what the weather will bring next week but that was the big thing: to get more experience playing links golf. I think it was great.”
