Hannah Burke finished with a sublime round of 64 to win the Tipsport Golf Masters in the Czech Republic by two strokes and claim her maiden Ladies European Tour title.

Burke started the final round four off the pace at Golf Park Pilsen but carded seven birdies on Sunday and made the most of the struggles of overnight leaders Nicole Broch Larsen and Becky Morgan.

She dropped two shots with a double bogey on the 18th on Saturday, but soon had those back with birdies at the first and fourth.

The Englishwoman reached the turn in 32 thanks to shots picked up at seven and nine, with three more birdies coming on the way home.

But it was only late in her round that those birdies finally put Burke into the lead, and that was all down to one horrendous hole for Broch Larsen.

The Danish player had started the day alongside Morgan on 10 under, and made six birdies in her first 15 holes, with even a couple of dropped shots still seeing her in front on -14.

But she suffered a nightmare at the short par four 16th, where a triple-bogey seven suddenly had her two shots adrift of Burke, who had shown improved form recently at the Scottish and British Opens. Broch Larsen eventually finished on 11 under with a round of 70.

Morgan made it to 12 under at the halfway stage of her final round, but bogeys at the 11th and 16th saw her drop away from the leaders and she had to settle for a tie for third alongside Sweden's Lina Boqvist (67) after a level-par 71.

"I’m absolutely lost for words. I didn’t really focus too much on winning. I had a little goal set each day and went out to achieve them and I’ve come out on top, so it feels good,” said Burke.

“I missed my goal yesterday, because I double bogeyed the last, but it was to have no bogeys in 18 holes. That’s what my coach set me as well, for my caddie. Today I had seven birdies and no bogeys so I managed my goal. I played very consistent. I only missed one green and putted well. Seven birdies is a good way to get on top.”

England's Georgia Hall made one of the biggest moves of the final day, climbing all the way from 30th into a tie for fifth place with a 64, like Burke a seven birdie, no dropped shots effort.

She was joined on nine under by compatriots Florentyna Parker and Melissa Reid, Noora Tamminen of Finland, France's Gwladys Nocera and Nanna Koerstz Madsen of Denmark.
