Ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl, we asked a number of PGA Tour professionals which of their peers could make it in the NFL

As the countdown continues to Super Bowl Sunday, we asked a selection of top professionals who would make the best NFL players.

Sky Sports reporter Tim Barter took a time-out from manning the Sky Cart during the Waste Management Phoenix Open to ask the likes of Rickie Fowler, Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed for their opinions on which of their colleagues would be best suited to a variety of positions.

Could anyone on the PGA Tour make it as a tough and powerful linebacker? Or maybe there's a budding quarterback who could trade places with Tom Brady and Matt Ryan in this weekend's Houston showpiece between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.

What about a resilient speed merchant who can play at wide receiver? Kuchar doesn't fancy that role as he has reservations about getting hit by a tough, powerful linebacker, although Billy Horschel backed himself to fill the slot role in the mold of Julian Edelman, who is likely to be a popular target for Brady on Sunday.

Dustin Johnson emerges as a popular choice among his peers, and in more than one position, while it became apparent that Jamie Lovemark could be as good at tossing touchdown passes as he is at belting 300-yard drives!
