Henni Goya takes guided tour of the Sefton coastline ahead of The Open

Ahead of The Open being held at Royal Birkdale this week, Henni Goya has gone behind the scenes to take a closer look at Southport and surrounding areas.

Royal Birkdale has previously hosted golf's oldest major nine times and is one of a number of prestigious courses in the North West, with Henni taking a closer look at a couple of those on offer.

The venue is down the road from Hillside Golf Club, one of the Final Qualifying host venues ahead of The Open, while there is plenty more to enjoy along the Sefton coast.

With the sights of Blackpool in the distance and views of Liverpool at the other end of the coast, Henni ventured down to the seaside to take a look at what spectators can enjoy nearby this week.
