Team Europe

Luke Donald 9:
P4 W3 H1 Pts 3.5.
Wild card now has an unbeaten record in foursomes with six wins out of six and by adding a singles win over Jim Furyk was joint top-scorer. Nothing ruffled the ice-cool Donald all weekend and he played some the best golf of the tournament.
Ross Fisher 7:
P4 W2 L2 Pts 2.
Solid debutant who helped lift Padraig Harrington with some seriously good putting, after first losing with Ian Poulter. After looking rock solid throughout, he then cracked in the singles, though, with four bogeys in his last five holes.
Peter Hanson 6:
P3 W1 L2 Pts 1.
Rookie failed to shine throughout, and was possibly still struggling with illness, with just a few bright sparks here and there. Had a win and a defeat with Miguel Angel Jimenez, but was no match for Phil Mickelson in the singles.
Padraig Harrington 6:
P4 W2 L2 Pts 2.
Picked for his experience and after 10 games without a win finally felt the thrill of victory twice with Fisher, although the Englishman did most of the leg work. Singles loss to Zach Johnson underlined he is still some way off his best.
Miguel Angel Jimenez 8:
P3 W2 L1 Pts 2.
Oldest player in the team at 46, but one of the big characters in the dressing room and a firm fan favourite. The cigar-smoking Spaniard beat Bubba Watson in singles and his bunker shot at the 15th to clinch the win was one of the best of the week.
Martin Kaymer 7:
P4 W2 H1 L1. Pts 2.5.
The German gained a fine 2.5 points from his four games, but the major winner's form was not the best despite starting well with Lee Westwood. He also won with Poulter, but suffered the biggest loss in the singles against Dustin Johnson.
Graeme McDowell 9:
P4 W2 H1 L1 Pts 2.5
US Open champion had mixed bag of results with McIlroy despite their close relationship and obvious star quality, but after being put in the anchor singles role how well he responded. The match-winning star.
Rory McIlroy 7:

P4 W1 H2 L1 Pts 2.
Didn't get a win until third game and even more relieved to get out of his singles with a half after leaving a bunker shot in the sand on 18. Showed huge bottle to get out at second attempt and hole out.
Edoardo Molinari 5:
P3 H2 L1 Pts 1.
The Italian brothers and World Cup winners revelled in the atmosphere, but did not quite fire together. Grabbed just a half before the singles then was flying at 4up before Fowler came storming back with his late rally to grab a half.
Francesco Molinari 6:
P3 H1 L2 Pts 0.5.
Closing birdie completed dream Sunday with Edoardo, then faced Woods and found the world number one in dazzling form. Got an early lead on Tiger but world number one was different class, needs to improve his shot putting.
Ian Poulter 9:
P4 W3 L1 Pts 3.
Top-scorer last time and joint top-scorer now. This man loves the Ryder Cup and it shows, in passion and performance. Bordered on arrogance when guaranteeing a singles point, but duly delivered Europe's biggest singles win.
Lee Westwood 8:
P4 W2 H1 L1 Pts 2.5.
Hard to believe he was back from seven-week injury as he led Europe into the match. Could not end it as he started, but still such an influence. Took everything in his stride and even singles defeat could not detract from massive influence.

Team USA

Stewart Cink 7:
P4 W1 H3 Pts 2.5.
He was the forgotten player at a comical opening ceremony, but not in the match itself. The only player on either side not to lose a match at Celtic Manor. Solid, dependable and helped Matt Kuchar settle into the competition.
Rickie Fowler 7:
P3 H2 L1 Pts 1.
Made a rookie error with the "wrong ball" ball saga to lose a hole but hit back to show why Corey Pavin picked him. Produced a brilliant comeback for a singles half, coming from four down after 12 against Edoardo Molinari.
Jim Furyk 5:
P3 H1 L2 Pts 0.5.
Arrived £7million richer after his FedEx Cup success, and bizarrely left out of first session. Enjoyed a great rapport with the crowd after beckoning a fan out to play a shot in practice. Poor pitch into a bunker on last hole of singles against Donald very costly.
Dustin Johnson 6:
P4 W1 L3 Pts 1.
Nearly man in the majors found cup debut hard going with Mickelson and then Furyk. Did manage to brilliantly recapture his form in the singles as he thrashed Kaymer and gain some manner of USPGA Championship revenge.
Zach Johnson 6:
P3 W2 L1 Pts 2.
Wild card selection who was omitted from the fourballs. He was very solid throughout if unspectacular, after claiming that his own game was boring. He did what he could after that and beat Padraig Harrington, but on losing team as he was in 2006.
Matt Kuchar 6:
P4 W1 H2 L1 Pts 2.
Unbeaten with Stewart Cink and was having an impressive debut until the singles, where Poulter gave him a real drubbing. Looked shaky at time but always managed to recover and proved a tough nut to crack for the Americans.
Hunter Mahan 5:
P3 W1 L2 Pts 1.
Another player who might have expected to be playing on the first day and didn't. Beat the Molinari's in foursomes but then fluffed chip on 17 in singles led to European win. His tears in press conference showed how much Team USA wanted to win.
Phil Mickelson 5:
P4 W1 L3 Pts 1.
Suffering his third defeat of the weekend made him the American with the most losses - 17 - in cup history, and undeserved stat for such a great player. Fine win in the singles, but Pavin would have hoped for far more from the left-hander.
Jeff Overton 8:
P4 W2 L2 Pts 2.
Surprise package of the Ryder Cup who finished up vying for best player on the USA team. He was pumped up from the start and even more so when he holed out from a fairway in third game. Beat Fisher to keep American cup hopes alive.
Steve Stricker 8:
P4 W3 L1 Pts 3.
Underrated performer who finished joint-top scorer for the visitors. Carried Woods to two wins with the world number one struggling badly, and gave his side his perfect start to the singles by beating Europe's top man Westwood.
Bubba Watson 5:
P4 W1 L3. Pts 1.
The big-hitting left-hander started his debut well, but how badly it tailed off. He won his opening fourballs match with fellow rookie Jeff Overton, but could never find his best golf. Was one over par in losing to Jimenez in the singles.
Tiger Woods 7:
P4 W3 L1 Pts 3.
Struggled initially, but really came out with a point to prove on Monday. Joint top-scorer on the team and in the singles played the best golf of anybody, but he has now been on the losing side five out of six times.
