Watch James Heath make a splash at the 17th in the first round of the Trophee Hassan II, but only after stripping down to his underwear

James Heath was staring a double-bogey in the face after his ball found the edge of the water at the Trophee Hassan II, but he waded in to splash out after removing most of his clothing!

Heath was already three over par for his first round on the tough Red Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Morocco when he arrived at the par-three 17th, and his ball ended up partially submerged in the water over the green.

But rather than take a penalty drop, the Englishman decided he could splash his ball onto the green, although he was aware that could have a devastating effect on his attire.

Perhaps unaware the cameras were still rolling, Heath removed his shoes, socks and then his trousers, much to the amusement of his playing partners and their caddies.

However, moments later they were united in their applause as Heath managed to get his ball onto the green, although he would miss the putt for par.
