Highlights from day two of the RSM Classic.

Kevin Chappell made the most of a holed bunker shot as he claimed a one-shot lead after 36 holes of the RSM Classic in Georgia.

Chappell carded a five-under 65 at the Seaside Course to reach 11 under at the halfway stage, claiming the lead on his own thanks to a stroke of luck at the par-five 15th hole.

The American was three under for the day when he came to the tee, having birdied the fourth, fifth, eighth and 10th holes before dropping a shot at the short 12th.

His approach to the 15th then found the front greenside bunker, but Chappell managed to hole out from the sand for an eagle and parred his way in to hold on to a narrow lead over Sweden's Freddie Jacobson and first-round leader Kevin Kisner.

Kisner was also playing the Seaside Course, and he added a second-round 67 to his opening 65, carding four birdies and dropping his only shot at the tricky 12th, just as Chappell had.

Jacobson was playing the neighbouring par-72 Plantation Course, and he had six birdies in a round of 67 to set up a chance at victory over the weekend when both rounds are played at the Seaside Course.

Kyle Stanley sits in fourth place on nine under, one shot ahead of Germany's Alex Cejka, while Graeme McDowell is in contention on seven under as he looks to add to his victory in last week's OHL Mayakoba Classic.

But there was no dream PGA Tour debut for amateur Dru Love, son of US Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III.

The 21-year-old was in good position to make the cut when he moved to three under after 11 holes of his second round, played at the Plantation Course.

But he went to pieces over the final seven holes, having started at the 10th, as he dropped shots at the third and fourth, carded another bogey at the seventh and a pair of double bogeys on his final two holes to finish on four over, well adrift of the cut.

Love played the first two rounds with his father, who was bang on the cut mark on two under after a second successive round of 70.
