Brian Stuard surged up the Dean & DeLuca Invitational leaderboard with a lightning start to his final round in Texas.
The American was 13 strokes adrift of third round pace setter Webb Simpson, but soon found himself within six of the lead after making huge inroads during the early stages of his round on Sunday.
Beginning on the back nine, Stuard picked up a birdie at the par-four at the 11th and added another gain at the next before draining a 20-footer at the par-three 13th.
Stuard rolled in a close-range gain at the 15th to go four under for the day before unleashing the shot of the round at the 189-yard 16th.
Attacking the flag with a 5-iron, Stuard saw his tee shot land on the green and take a big bounce off the putting surface before rattling into the heart of the cup for a hole-in-one.
