Early birdies key to three-shot win
Scotland's Catriona Matthew fired a closing round of 68 to claim a three-shot victory in the Scandinavian TPC Hosted by Annika in Barseback.
The 37-year-old birdied four of the first five holes to storm into a clear lead before bogeys at the sixth and 10th steadied her progress.
American Laura Diaz emerged as her chief threat with three birdies from the ninth, but Matthew pulled away again on the back nine with successive birdies at the 12th and 13th.
Her four under par round took her to nine under for the tournament, with Sophie Gustafson of Sweden tying with Diaz for second.
"Obviously I played really well. I got off to a good start," said Matthew.
"I hit the ball really well. I was a little bit shaky on 10 and pushed my second shot but the birdies on 12 and 13 settled me down and I had good chances coming in.
"It's fantastic. I haven't won in a couple of years and there's a great field here this week so I'm just thankful to have won."
Joint overnight leader Brittany Lincicome stuttered to a 76, eventually finishing eighth on one under.
Host for the week Annika Sorenstam was a shot further back following a closing 68.
