European Captain Helen Alfredsson has named her picks for next month's Solheim Cup match.
Captain completes Solheim line-up
European captain Helen Alfredsson has named fellow swedes Maria Hjorth and Linda Wessberg, as well as Norwegian Iben Tinning, as her captain's picks for the forthcoming Solheim Cup match.
It means there will be no fewer than four Swedes in the team for next month's clash which takes place at the Halmstad Golf Club from September 14-16.
"Mimi (Hjorth) has played really well recently, particularly obviously at the HSBC Women's Matchplay and the Women's British Open, which were two world class events on testing golf courses," Alfredsson explained.
Of Tinning - who has played in the last three Solheim matches - she added: "Iben Tinning is another strong player with plenty of experience and some solid recent form.
"We've been impressed by Iben's short game in recent events and her ability to make important putts.
"We also really like her attitude and her mental strength."
Wessberg, 27, will be making her debut in the event and, along with Hjorth, joins compatriots Annika Sorenstam and Sophie Gustafson in the team.
Suzann Pettersen ensures there will be two Norwegians competing, while Britons Catriona Matthew, Trish Johnson, Laura Davies and Becky Brewerton, France's Gwladys Nocera and Bettina Hauert of Germany complete Alfredsson's line-up.
Sky Sports will be providing exclusive coverage of the encounter next month.
