The 11th Solheim Cup gets underway on Friday as Europe travel to America to try and win back the the trophy from the United States. Alison Nicholas leads a European team who start the match at Rich Harvest Farms, Sugar Grove in Illinois as huge underdogs. Beth Daniel's US side are widely expected to retain the trophy that they won in convincing style in Sweden two years ago. However, with the likes of veteran Laura Davies and recent Women's British Open champion Catriona Matthew spearheading their challenge, Europe will be hopeful of pulling off a surprise.
