Despite glorious conditions, it proved a tough opening day at the Masters with only 19 of the 97-man field able to break par.
However, that wasn't to say there weren't some remarkable shots to bring the galleries to their feet and we've put together a selection of the best.
Masters debutants Victor Dubuisson and Stephen Gallacher both impressed with the Frenchman almost making a hole-in-one at the sixth and the Scotsman only a couple of feet from an albatross at 15.
It was the usual mixed bag from Phil Mickelson although he produced some fireworks on the tenth green, but perhaps the pick of the bunch came from Sang Moon-bae... make your own mind up!
