We continue our countdown to Royal Birkdale by looking back at Justin Rose's visit to the Open Zone at Royal Troon last year.

The Englishman demonstrated to Claude Harmon III the parts of his game he had been working on ahead of his challenge at the 2016 Open.

Rose looked as relaxed as ever as he showed off his smooth swing under the watchful eye of Claude, and he laughed off a question from a punter who had backed the Englishman to finish in the top five in 2015 (he finished tied for sixth) and wondered if he would do better that week!

"That's why it's called gambling," joked Rose, who went on to finish tied for 22nd behind Henrik Stenson at Royal Troon.
