Phil Mickelson explains why he enjoys Oakmont, despite its reputation as one of the toughest courses in America.

The opening day of the US Open might have been a wash-out and the rain softening the course reduced the level of difficulty, for the first couple of days at least.
But Oakmont will not be underestimated by any of the competitors, least of all five-time major winner Mickelson who despite all his success is still without a US Open victory.
Oakmont's unique challenges might not seem to Mickelson's immediate tastes but the 46-year-old relishes the test that course just outside Pittsburgh provides.
