Eubank Jr (20-1-KO15) and O'Sullivan (22-1-KO15) fight for the right to face WBA world middleweight Daniel Jacobs and relations between the pair hit another low at Thursday's final press conference.

The opponents picked up where they left off on the recently-broadcast The Gloves Are Off by trading insults, and 'English' was quick to interject on his son's behalf despite hearing O'Sullivan's trainer Paschal Collins express respect for Team Eubank.

'English' told the press conference: "One day I put on the body suit because I wanted to feel Junior's power. He hit me with 10 shots and I dropped my hands and laughed from my stomach about how hurtful the punches were. I pity the man that stands toe-to-toe with Junior.

Whichever route you choose, I think you're in for a cooking. I'll bring the pepper!

"Whichever route you choose, I think you're in for a cooking. I'll bring the pepper! If you box him, it'll be a one-horse race. If you fight him, there'll be fireworks. Let's see who has the bigger bombs. I'm looking forward to what happens on this special night on Saturday.

"I saw a little clip in which Junior said that he smelled fear. I kind of sense the same thing. Someone was speaking [Collins] over there and paying us a great deal of respect so it sounds as if there is fear in that camp... and there should be.

"One of the things their camp said was that you've been training for six months. I do not disbelieve you, but Junior has been training for 10 years. Six days a week. We are fierce. We don't take breaks.

"Junior has learned the hard way and therefore in the future, that mistake will not happen again. To Mr O'Sullivan I will say this: looking at your abilities, your best chance is coming forward and throwing punches but that is the worst thing you can do."

Eubank Jr's trainer Adam Booth is equally confident of the Brighton fighter sending O'Sullivan back to Cork without a world title shot.

Chris Eubank Sr says his son will cook Spike O'Sullivan on Saturday and he will bring salt and pepper to the fight!

Booth added: "Training has gone as well I could have possibly hoped for. He's ready to fight smart and fight ferociously. I don't think that you can prepare for the type of ferocious attacks and the energy that he'll bring.

"Power is only relevant to a certain level. When you step up you tend to find that shots that had an impact at a lower level don't have an impact at a higher level."
