The pole vaulter won the Glasgow International Meet last weekend and followed it up with another superb performance at the Springer Meeting in Germany on Friday.

Bleasdale, the European indoor champion, missed the vast majority of last year's outdoor season through injury having excelled indoors and will be hoping to make up for lost time in 2014.

Next up for the Sky Academy Sports Scholar is the British Indoor Championships in Sheffield starting on Saturday, whilst the World Indoor Championships in Poland take place in March.

The Worlds will provide Bleasdale with a stern test as she goes up against the likes of Svobodová once more and attempts to prove that she is back to her best.

That there has been a steady improvement with each outing must give the Cardiff-based athlete confidence that it is a test she is more than capable of passing.
