Winning bronze at London 2012 was a phenomenal achievement for a nervy 16-year-old competing as the second youngest athlete in Team GB.

A second Paralympics await for a wiser and stronger Olivia Breen, the multi-event athlete born with cerebral palsy, who's aiming to get her hands on more metal in Rio in the 100m, long jump and relay.

On Friday, the Sky Academy Sports Scholar flew out to Brazil to the holding camp for final preparations.

Here are Olivia's thoughts on what she's been up to and how she's feeling for the sport's grand showpiece....

I can't believe that the Paralympics are almost here. Rio has been at the front of my mind for the last four years.

It is what has got me to training on the cold, wet winter mornings. Watching the Olympics has been amazing and has made it all so much more of a reality.

Team GB were amazing and seeing so many incredible performances has been really inspiring. It has also been great to see the performances of the other Scholars who were in Rio. Everyone has worked so hard and performed so well.

My training over the last few weeks has gone really well. I've spent quite a bit of time training in Loughborough which has been really good.

Neither of my personal coaches Jonas Dodoo (sprints) and Julie Dodoo (jumps) have accreditation for Rio so it was arranged for me to see jumping coach Aston Moore who will be helping me with my long jump at the Games.

It's been really helpful to get an idea of how we both work.

I had my last session at Lee Valley with Jonas and Jules and I spent my last week at home training to keep my travelling to a minimum before our big journey.

I am feeling in a good place. I feel well and I'm in good shape - I am so excited! My kit arrived last week and I love it!

Rio looks amazing and it will be a real privilege to be part of it. I am one of the first athletes from Team GB to head over to Rio. We leave ridiculously early for the training camp in Belo Horizonte in Brazil.

I then head to the Rio Games village on September 4.

My events are:

Thursday September 8 - 100m heats
Friday September 9 - 100m final (hopefully!)
Sunday September 11 - long jump
Friday September 16 - 4x100m relay

I am so lucky to have such a strong team around me - my family, friends and boyfriend who are always there for me. Plus my amazing coaches Jonas and Julie Dodoo and all the Speedworks team.

My sports therapists at Up and Running who keep me healthy. And of course Sky whose support on the Scholarship scheme in so many ways and belief in me has helped me to get to the point I am now.

I really hope I can make everyone proud!
