NBA: Boston Celtics guard Leandro Barbosa out for the season with knee injury
The injury-ravaged Boston Celtics suffered a fresh blow with guard Leandro Barbosa being ruled out for the season.

Leandro Barbosa, who plays guard position will now be taking a rest after suffering from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament, said his team on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old Brazilian encountered the non-contact injury to his left knee whilst playing in the latter half of the third quarter against the defeating Charlotte Bobcats on Monday. This is Boston's third season-ending injury in less than three weeks.
It was only last month when point-guard Rajon Rondo, also suffered from a torn ACL, and Boston's Rookie Jared Sullinger was taken out the game in the first quarter against Sacramento due to back spasms.
Barbosa was known as the fastest player in the NBA, averaging eight points , 2.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds over 21.3 minutes per game in eight appearances since Rondo was lost.
Despite the crippling injuries for the team, Boston (27-24) had been riding a triumphant season-high seven game winning streak after Rondo was injured before losing to the Bobcats on Monday in the second night of a back-to-back.
