Roy Hibbert scored 24 points to help the Pacers become the first team since Dallas Mavericks ion 2002/03 to open a campaign 9-0.
Paul George also added useful points, with 10 of his 22 points coming in the third quarter, while Lance Stephenson finished with 11 points.
The Bucks, missing four injured players, were led by O.J. Mayo's 20-point haul but they never looked capable of avoiding a fourth straight defeat.
Elsewhere, Miami's LeBron James scored 39 points and Dwyane Wade chipped in with 17 points, eight assists and a career-best eight steals as the Heat beat Dallas 110-104.
James made 14 of 18 shots for the Heat, who have surpassed the 100-point mark in every game this season.
Wade became the second player in Heat history with at least eight steals and eight assists in a game, matching Tim Hardaway's feat against Atlanta in 1997-98.
Mavericks win
Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 points to lead Dallas, who turned the ball over 24 times.
Brooklyn's Joe Johnson tied the game in regulation, trapped a loose ball in overtime and then dropped in a basket as time expired to give the Nets a dramatic 100-98 win over Phoenix.
Brook Lopez scored 25 of his 27 points for Brooklyn in the second half and overtime, while P.J. Tucker added 15 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter and overtime for the Suns, who had been undefeated at home in four previous games.
Meanwhile, Chicago overcame the absence of the injured Derrick Rose to beat Toronto 96-80, with Luol Deng had 19 points and Joakim Noah scored 18 for the Bulls.
DeMar DeRozan matched his career high with 37 points but was the only Raptor's player in double figures.
Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge also enjoyed a good night, scoring 27 points and added 12 rebounds to lead the TrailBlazers to a 109-96 win over the Boston Celtics, their first victory at the Massachusetts side since 2004.
