NBA: Miami Heat through to Eastern Conference Final after win over Brooklyn Nets

The Miami Heat's title defence remains on course after they advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals with a 96-94 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

LeBron James scored 29 points and Dwyane Wade added 28 for Miami as they rallied to beat Brooklyn and claim a 4-1 series win.

Miami had trailed by eight inside the final five minutes but reeled off 12 unanswered points to take the lead.

Last year's beaten finalists San Antonio kept alive the chances of a rematch by beating the Portland Trail Blazers 104-82 to reach the Western Conference Finals.

Patty Mills scored 18 points and Tim Duncan added 16 as the Spurs completed a 4-1 series win of their own.

However, San Antonio lost star guard Tony Parker to hamstring tightness in the first half, and will await news of any injury before facing either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Los Angeles Clippers in the next round.
