European Track Championships: Tennant and Skinner win gold for Britain

Great Britain won two gold medals and picked up a silver medal at European Track Championships in Guadeloupe.
Andy Tennant rode his way to the gold in the the individual pursuit, while Callum Skinner picked up the gold medal in the 1km time trial.
Jon Dibben managed to climb from sixth spot to take the silver in the men's omnium after securing a second-place finish in the points race.
GB had already won two gold medals earlier in the Championship after Ed Clancy, Jon Dibben, Owain Doull and Andy Tennant won the team pursuit and Katie Archibald, Elinor Barker, Joanna Rowsell and Laura Trott won the women’s final on day two.
Britain's Laura Trott, who is defending her European omnium crown, is currently sitting in third spot at the halfway point of the Championships which conclude later today.
Guadeloupe is a Caribbean island and is a French colony. These championships give the cyclists their first opportunity to secure qualification points for the Rio Olympics in 2016.
