Derry GAA have opted for a new look ahead of the 2019 season.

The Oakleafers have gone for all-red sleeves to revert to a more traditional look, while also adding lines under the main stripe on the midriff.

The Ulster county's footballers failed to make a significant breakthrough during Damian McErlain's maiden season in charge, as they lost to Donegal and Kildare to bring an early end to their summer. However, underage talent is coming through the production line, with provincial titles at U20 and minor in 2018 and 2017 respectively.

Meanwhile, their hurlers are looking to push on and build on their 2017 Nicky Rackard title. While they are still without a manager ahead of the new season, there is hope that they will fare better in the National League with the Slaughtneil contingent available to them this spring.
