The Treaty County have unveiled a new strip for next season, with no sponsor on the jersey.

Having landed the All-Ireland title in 2018, Limerick's defence of the Liam MacCarthy Cup will see them go with a new look. It will be the first year since 1990 that they will be without a shirt sponsor, going against modern customs in the GAA.

Fans within the county will be hoping that the team will recreate this year's success in the new strip.

John Kiely's hurlers became the first team from the county to win the All-Ireland since 1973, and will be confident that it won't be another 45 years before the MacCarthy Cup winters in the Shannon-side city again.

"The new Limerick GAA jersey design encapsulates the traditional look and feel of GAA jerseys by going back to basics. The Shannonsiders have broken current tradition with this new design concept, as it is the first inter-county jersey in a number of years not to feature a sponsor on the front as well as having a clean green look and feel to it, opposed to the intricate design on the previous jersey."
