Donal Og Cusack returns to GPA as president

Donal Óg Cusack has returned to the Gaelic Players Association, after being named president.
The former Cork goalkeeper was one of the most central figures in the GPA since its foundation in 1999. Stepping away as chairman in 2015 to take up a role as selector for the Clare hurlers in 2015, the Cloyne native comes back into the fold as president.
He will be in the role for a three-year term, pending re-election each year.
Meanwhile, Mayo footballer Tom Parsons has been confirmed as secretary, a role vacated by Paul Flynn since he became CEO.
