Steelers netminder in fine form during 4-1 win
Sheffield Steelers claimed a 4-1 victory over Coventry Blaze in Friday night's only Elite League fixture.
Luke Fulghum opened the scoring against his former employers in the sixth minute to give the Steelers an early advantage.
Mike Ramsay and Jonathan Phillips added further goals for the visitors, who led 3-0 at the end of the first period despite having had fewer shots up to that point.
The Steelers added a fourth, Ramsay netting on the powerplay, before Bryan Jurynec finally got Sheffield on the board.
But Steelers netminder John DeCaro ensured his side closed out the win, DeCaro turning away 47 of 48 shots in total as the Blaze's four-match winning run on home ice came to an end.
