Belfast Giants came out on top in what was a controversial game against Coventry Blaze on Sunday night in the Elite League.
Elsewhere and in the Challenge Cup Group B, Sheffield Steelers edged Nottingham Panthers 4-3 after overtime in a thrilling encounter. It was Tom Sestito who won it for the home side in the 64th minute, with never more than a goal between the teams all night.
