Kasey Kahne secured his second Sprint Cup win of the season by winning the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Denny Hamlin came in second with Clint Bowyer, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Brad Keselowski rounding out the top five.
Hamlin was hindered by a miscommunication with crew chief Darian Grubb, who changed four tires instead of two, during a restart on the 240th lap of the 300-lap race.
The pit stop left Hamlin in 13th place, although he battled his way through the field to finish 10 car lengths behind Kahne.
"We've been pretty tough all year, but we just haven't finished 'em off a lot of the times," commented Kahne.

"From here on out, we need some more top 10s and top fives the rest of the way. It doesn't get us in the Chase yet, but it does help with a win."
Grubb accepted the blame for Hamlin's longer than expected pit spot, stating: "That was 100 per cent my fault."
Hamlin's Toyota was the best car in the race, which enabled him to pick off one car after another as he recovered from the error.
"It's such a team sport," remarked Hamlin. "We just had a slight miscommunication and that one little miscommunication will magnify it."
Hamlin's team-mate Kyle Busch began the race in pole position and led for 66 laps, but a costly pit spot meant he eventually finished in 24th.
