Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lukas Dryml and Bjarne Pedersen will contest the 2008 Grand Prix series after all three came through the qualifying final in Vojens. Iversen achieved the feat in some style, winning his first four heats before finishing second in his last after colliding with Swede Fredrik Lindgren. Without scaling such heights, Dryml nevertheless had a consistent evening and achieved his own place in next year's SGP by winning heat 19. Dryml beat Jonas Davidsson in that heat, with the latter eventually finishing level on 11 points with Pedersen. However, Dane Pedersen subsequently clinched his own berth by winning their third-place run-off. Iversen finished 13th overall in the 2006 SGP season with 51 points, while Dryml has not contested the event since 2004. On that occasion he could only manage 21st place. However, he finished 10th in 2002 and 12th in 2003.
