FA confirm that investigation remains ongoing over alleged racist remarks made to Cameron Jerome last month.

It is understood that the FA are taking the allegations very seriously and conducting a full and thorough investigation before deciding whether to formally charge Bellusci.

It is understood that the staff meeting took place around midday and has been described as ‘sad and emotional.’

Administrators have been involved in intense negotiations to secure a deal over the past few weeks.

Wembley - NFL games

Roy Hodgson has questioned the FA’s decision to allow an NFL game to take place at Wembley six days before England’s Euro 2016 qualifying game against Slovenia.

Hodgson said: "If I was asked if it was a good thing or not, I would have to say not. I can’t pretend it is something that makes me leap for joy."

Wembley officials have told Sky Sports News HQ that they are confident over the long-term prospects for the pitch, and point out that it has been in ‘excellent condition’ in recent years.

£16,000 watches

It is now two weeks after the deadline for 65 officials to return their luxury World Cup gift from the Brazilian Confederation.

FIFA chief investigator Michael Garcia has still yet to reveal whether FA chairman Greg Dyke will face any sanctions for failing to return his watch before the October 24 deadline.

Dyke intends to auction the watch on behalf of Breast Cancer Care, the FA’s charity partner.
