Triple H: the Game has emerged victorious from the Chamber a record four times

The number six is not the only digit associated with WWE's hellacious metal structure, though, as you will discover if you peruse the flotilla of figures below.

Most wins, most eliminations and most losing efforts are revealed, as are the two Superstars with a 100 per cent record inside the Chamber, which was first utilised in November 2002.

So seep in the numbers and then make sure you watch WWE Elimination Chamber 2014, live on Sky Sports 1...

4 - The number of wins accrued by Triple H from his six appearances in the Chamber

The Game prevailed in 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2009, leaving each match with either a world title around his waist or a championship clash at the Show of Shows, WrestleMania. Shawn Michaels and John Cena are the only other Superstars to win a Chamber contest featuring Triple H

6 - The number of occasions Randy Orton has come up short in the match

The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion has never tasted an Elimination Chamber victory and fell at the final hurdle in 2013 after being pinned by Jack Swagger. The Viper's luck must change this year or his lengthy run with his belt will come to a grinding halt in Minneapolis

8 - The number of Chamber appearances by Chris Jericho

The Canadian has entered the Chamber more times than any other grappler, edging out Triple H and Orton, who have entered the lion's den on six occasions. Jericho's solitary win, however, came in 2010 when he lastly conquered The Undertaker - thanks to an assist from Shawn Michaels

10 - The number of Chamber eliminations by Chris Jericho

The Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla - the lead singer of heavy metal band, Fozzy - makes a second appearance on the list courtesy of his penchant for removing his fellow Superstars from the Chamber. Jericho's list of victims includes Booker T, Kane, Edge, Kevin Nash, Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston.

16 - The number of Elimination Chamber matches to have been contested

The first Chamber bout in 2002 saw Shawn Michaels beat Triple H, as well as Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Chis Jericho and Kane, to win the World Heavyweight Title, while Jack Swagger won the most recent incarnation, in 2013, to rubberstamp a WrestleMania clash with Alberto Del Rio

45 - The number of Superstars to have been locked inside the Elimination Chamber

Real American Antonio Cesaro and veteran Canadian Christian will swell that total to 47 when they make their Elimination Chamber bows in February, joining a list featuring Edge, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Batista, Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes, Mark Henry, Santino Marella, The Great Khali and JBL

100 - The success rate in percentage of Jack Swagger and Bobby Lashley in the Chamber

Jack Swagger and Bobby Lashley have only entered the Chamber once apiece but celebrated with victories; the former seeing off Jericho, Bryan, Kane, Henry and Orton last year, and the latter seizing the ECW Title in 2006 after quelling Big Show, Hardcore Holly, Test, CM Punk and RVD.
