Sky Sports has announced the first batch of live speedway fixtures for the new season.

Sky Sports will kick off this season's live speedway coverage with a repeat of last year's Grand Final match. And it has also been confirmed that all speedway on Sky Sports will now be broadcast in HD! Champions Wolverhampton will face Swindon as Sky Sports kicks off its Elite League coverage on Monday March 29 - and the Robins will be looking for swift revenge after their 95-90 aggregate defeat in last season's play-offs. Sky Sports have also confirmed that their cameras will be at further meetings in April and May as the new season roars into life this Spring. Further huge live Elite League fixtures this April include Poole's trip to Coventry, Belle Vue's clash with Ipswich and Eastbourne v Peterborough. Sky Sports will be showing live coverage of international and domestic speedway throughout the 2010 season, including all of the Grand Prix meetings and a number of Premier League clashes. Indeed, Sky Sports' Premier League coverage kicks off on Monday April 5 when Rye House host Birmingham. These are the confirmed fixtures for new Sky Sports speedway season.
