Image: Simpson: scores for QPR

Hull City star Jay Simpson, The Inbetweeners' Blake Harrison and synthpop duo Hurts!

If it's goals, gags and brilliant guests you're after than look no further because we've got a show which packs more of a punch than Haye, Harrison and even Barton for that matter! Dropping into the studio first this week will be Hull City star Jay Simpson! A product of the Arsenal youth setup, Simpson ended his 11-year association with the club back in August after signing for Hull City. The forward joined the Gunners at the age of nine and became the first player to score a hat-trick at the Emirates stadium in a 3-2 FA Youth Cup victory against Cardiff. Loan spells with Millwall and West Bromwich Albion only served to enhance his reputation, as did a brace in his first senior start for Arsenal in a League Cup tie against Wigan two years ago. However, after failing to break into Arsene Wenger's first team plans, the England Under-21s star opted to join QPR on a season-long loan deal where he once again impressed, scoring eight goals in his first 15 appearances. His eye-catching displays caught the attention of a number of clubs and after returning briefly to North London he was snapped up by Hull. The Tigers have not had the best start to the season and will be hoping to move out of the relegation places with a win against Preston on Friday night. And Simpson will be reflecting on that result as well as his time at the club so far.

Sitcom

Next down the tunnel will be an actor whose antics an as an Inbetweener have kept us more than entertained over the last few years. Playing the role of Neil in the sitcom saw Blake Harrison become a household name in the UK almost overnight. Along with his unassuming co-stars he was responsible for grown men and women giggling hysterically like school kids and reminiscing about their misspent youth! But after three series' the boys and writers decided to call it a day this year to the disappointment of their growing legion of fans. All is not lost though with a feature length film based on the BAFTA award-winning show in the pipelines, while the four stars continue to further their careers with new projects, including Harrison. The Millwall fan's new series, 'The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret' airs on More4 this Sunday and he will be telling us all about that, the latest on the Inbetweener's film and what he's made of Millwall's return to the Championship.

Synthpop

Completing this week's line-up will be British synthpop duo Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson, aka, Hurts! Big things were expected of the Manchester based band after they finished fourth in the BBC's Sound of 2010 poll, and they haven't disappointed. The official release of their debut single, Better Than Love was followed by their first album 'Happiness' in September, which includes a duet with everyone's favourite pocket princess Kylie Minogue. 'Happiness' became the fastest selling debut by a British band this year and it wasn't long before their UK tour sold out either to complete an incredible 12 months for the boys who will be telling Helen and Max all about it! That completes another cracking line-up of guests, but as ever we've got all your favourites too including, another stunning Soccerette, Pat McGroin with the news, Little and Large, Showboat, Ant and Dec, Unbelievable Tekkers, Charlton's Crossbar Challenge, Skill Skool with Blackburn and Kenneth the Groundsman! Plus, we'll have the semi-final draw of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, Michael Carrick tells us why he loves football, and we see if Kammy has what it takes to Zip Wire down the front of the Imperial War Museum in Kammy Do It! So be sure to tune in to Soccer AM, Saturday, 10am, on Sky Sports 2 & Sky One!
