Colin Kazim-Richards, Felix Dexter and Lethal Bizzle are all in the studio on New Year's Day!
Celebrate the New Year with Soccer AM!
Put off your resolutions to midday because Soccer AM is back this Saturday to help you bring in the New Year in style! Regular viewers will know we're all about tradition so when Colin Kazim-Richards said he was free to come on the show over the festive period we jumped at the chance to have him on again. The Fenerbahce forward, who will be appearing on the orange sofas almost a year to the day since his last visit, returned to the UK earlier this month to celebrate Christmas with his family. Born in Leyton, Kazim-Richards joined Turkish outfit Fenerbahce in June 2007 and has represented the national side 26 times, having qualified for Turkish nationality through his mother. Following his last visit to the studio the former Arsenal trainee enjoyed a six month loan spell with French outfit Toulouse, but returned to Turkey in the summer. He'll no doubt be telling us all about his time in France and spilling the beans on where he spent New Year's Eve!Comedian
Our second guest of 2011 will be award winning comedian, writer and actor Felix Dexter! An Arsenal fan, Dexter's TV credits include, The Real McCoy, Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge, and The Lenny Henry Show. Currently in the middle of his stand-up tour, Multiple Personalities In Order, the law graduate has also tested his acting chops in straight roles both on screen and in theatre, including in two runs of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest alongside Christian Slater. As ever Helen and Max will be putting the questions to him and amongst other things they'll be asking him what it's like performing at a maximum security prison!Rapper
So that takes care of sport and comedy, which means our final guest must be of a musical persuasion!
East London rapper Lethal Bizzle will be dropping in to talk about the re-release of his track Pow, featuring a new line up of guests including Wiley, Chipmunk, 2 Face, Ghetts, JME, Kano and P Money.
The Arsenal fan is also set to start work on his fourth studio album over the next few months, following last year's Go Hard and he'll be telling us what to expect.
That wraps up another cracking line-up of guests, but as ever we've got all your favourites too, including Pat McGroin with the news, Showboat, Unbelievable Tekkers, Kenneth the Groundsman and Ant and Dec!
Plus, Michael Owen dishes the dirt on his Man Utd team mates, Ashes hero Jimmy Anderson joins us on the phone, Wycombe take on the Crossbar Challenge and Kammy appears on Paddy McGuinness' Take Me Out!
So be sure to tune in to Soccer AM, New Year's Day, 10am, on Sky Sports 2 & Sky One!
