Two goals from Dwight King helped the Los Angeles Kings open the NHL Western Conference final with a 4-2 road win against the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday.
Los Angeles took the lead in each of the first two periods, through Anze Kopitar and King, but each time Phoenix swiftly got back on level terms thanks to strikes from Derek Morris and Mikkel Boedker.
However, the visitors went ahead for a third time 2:11 into the third period through Dustin Brown and this time there was no way back for the Coyotes as King found the empty net in the final minute to seal victory.
