Yoenis Cespedes became only the second player to repeat as Home Run Derby champion after beating Todd Frazier 9-1 in the final round.
The Oakland Athletics outfielder, who took his first title last year, joined Ken Griffey Jr as one of only two men who have successfully defended their crown.
On the day before the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, Cuba's Cespedes beat Frazier of the Cincinnati Reds with a dazzling display of upper-deckers at Target Field in Minneapolis.
He capped his display by blasting a 452-foot homer over left field, the longest shot of the whole competition.
"I'm somebody who's very conscious of the power that I have," Cespedes told MLB's official website.
"So I don't need to put more of a swing or more of an effort in order to hit a home run. I just have to look for a good pitch and put a good swing on it, and it usually takes care of it."
