Manny Machado hit a walk-off homer in the 12th inning as the Baltimore Orioles sealed a 7-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Josh Hamilton had three RBIs for the Angels while Nick Markakis registered the same for the Orioles who won their seventh consecutive game that had gone to extra innings.
The Miami Marlins won a sixth straight game as they shut out the Washington Nationals 3-0.

The game was scoreless for five-and-a-half innings before Giancarlo Stanton's double saw Jordany Valdespin home and two more runs, including Stanton's second RBI in the eighth, sealed the win.
The Cincinnati Reds were also 3-0 winners as Mike Leake pitched seven scoreless innings and recorded an RBI against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
A Chase Utley grand slam in the seventh inning helped the Philadelphia Phillies over the line as they beat the New York Mets 6-0.

City neighbours the New York Yankees needed a little more luck as they secured a 12-11 win in a thriller against the Texas Rangers.
JP Arencibia had a career-high seven RBIs, including a grand slam, in a losing effort with a seven-run sixth inning helping the Yankees on their way.
The Chicago Cubs needed 16 innings - and more than six and a half hours - to edge out the Colorado Rockies 4-3, with catcher John Baker earning the win after pitching in relief, while the White Sox claimed an 11-4 win over the Detroit Tigers.
The Tampa Bay Rays were 5-1 winners over the Milwaukee Brewers, the Seattle Mariners beat the Cleveland Indians 5-2 and the Toronto Blue Jays claimed a 4-2 victory over the Boston Red Sox.
The Minnesota Twins were narrow victors as they beat the Kansas City Royals 2-1, the Oakland Athletics beat the Houston Astros 7-4 and the Los Angeles Dodgers were 8-4 winners over the Atlanta Braves.
In the day's remaining games, the St Louis Cardinals lost 3-1 to the San Diego Padres and the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the San Francisco Giants 3-1.
