Time was not on Seth Rollins’ side on WWE Main Event.

The Architect has enjoyed a profitable few months, winning the Money in the Bank briefcase and seemingly securing victory in his war with former Shield stablemate Dean Ambrose.

But Rollins was defeated via count-out on Tuesday evening by Rob Van Dam, when he was tossed into the timekeeper’s area and failed to return to the ring before the referee reached 10.

Elsewhere in Ontario, there were triumphs for Adam Rose and Gold and Stardust.

WWE: Late Night - Smackdown

Rose downed former Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel with the Party Foul after the son of “Mr Perfect” Curt Hennig became frustrated by the antics of his opponent’s Rosebuds.

Plus, the intergalactic tandem of Goldust and Stardust polished off the masked marvels Los Matadores – before once again demonstrating their new, darker personas.

The glittering brothers attacked The Usos’ on Monday night after Jey’s knee injury prevented them from poaching the WWE Tag Team Titles, and they struck again after beating Los Matadores by assaulting the Spanish twosome’s mascot, El Torito.
