WWE NXT results: Tyson Kidd out of title picture after losing to Adrian Neville
Will Sami Zayn be champion's next challenger?

Adrian Neville defeated Tyson Kidd on Thursday night to retain his NXT Championship and send the Canadian out of the title picture.
Newcastle fighter Neville coped with interference from Titus O’Neil to down Kidd with the Red Arrow in the Hart Dungeon graduate’s last chance, for the time being at least, to seize NXT gold.
Kidd was informed before the contest that should he lose his latest NXT Title match he would be banned from competing for the belt while it was held by British high-flyer Neville.
And despite putting in a valiant display – even placing his rival in the Sharpshooter – Kidd saw his championship dreams evaporate when The Man Gravity Forgot leapt onto him from the top rope.
Neville’s hopes of clinging onto his belt looked perilous when he was clocked by the watching O’Neil having rolled outside the ring, but before The Big Deal could attack the champion further, Sami Zayn rushed from the locker room and Helluva Kicked the onetime American footballer.
Neville recovered from that commotion to overcome Kidd but his subsequent stare-down with Zayn suggested he may not have to look far for his next challenger.
Charlotte, like Neville, won a championship match on this week’s edition of NXT, conquering Bayley with Natural Selection to preserve her grip on the Women’s Title.
The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair hugged Bayley after the bout as a mark of respect, but the Californian received no sporting gestures from Sasha Banks later on as she was attacked by ‘The Boss’.
Elsewhere, The Vaudevillains – Aiden English and Simon Gotch – boosted their chances of getting a shot at The Lucha Dragons’ NXT Tag Team Titles by knocking off Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger.
Hideo Itami, meanwhile, saw his scheduled duel with Viktor turn into a two-on-one beatdown, with Viktor and his Ascension partner Konnor crushing the Japanese until he was attended to by medical personnel.
