WWE Smackdown results: Roman Reigns and Dolph Ziggler win main event tag match
Hulk Hogan makes impact as guest General Manager

Roman Reigns speared Big Show and Seth Rollins as he and Dolph Ziggler won Smackdown’s main event on Friday night.
The ex-Shield powerhouse weakened The World’s Largest Athlete with his gut-busting move and then pinned Rollins after hitting The Aerialist with the same manoeuvre in Sioux City, Iowa.
Rollins’ minions, J&J Security, tried to get involved in the tag-team tussle, which was sanctioned earlier in the show by Hulk Hogan, Smackdown’s guest General Manager for the evening.
But Ziggler – on a roll after becoming the sole survivor at Survivor Series and regaining the Intercontinental Championship – took out Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury, allowing Reigns to wrap up the win.
Hogan made another big call on the blue brand when he forced Rusev to defend the United States Title after The Super Athlete had attacked Ryback following The Big Guy’s triumph over Kane.
Rusev was nonplussed when his opponent turned out to be Dean Ambrose but the Bulgarian emerged with his title intact when Bray Wyatt attacked Ambrose, causing the contest to end in a disqualification.
Wyatt tried to batter The Lunatic Fringe further after the bell, but Ambrose fought back, pummelling The Eater of Worlds with multiple chair shots and forcing him to scarper backstage.
Elsewhere, there were wins for married couple Jimmy Uso and Naomi, with the former knocking off The Miz and the latter conquering Alicia Fox, while Adam Rose vanquished R-Truth after sending the rapping Superstar hurtling into the steel ring post.
