Dutch legend Johan Cruyff has launched his own collection of trainers. Check them out here.

Dutch legend Johan Cruyff wasn't bad with a ball at his feet. In fact we'd go as far as to say his feet are amongst the most talented in the world, so it stands to reason that he would come out with his own collection of trainers! The former Barcelona star originally developed his Cruyff Classics in 1979 while playing in Spain. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Cruyff Classics are inspired by the brands core values; classic, football elegance and Style. Key styles in the collection include the Vanenburg, easily recognisable by its slim fit and vintage appearance. The original 1980s version was inspired and worn by Dutch footballer Gerald Vanenburg. The Recopa Classic, again inspired by one of the vintage styles of the '80s, is designed by top designer Emilio Lazzarini and features Cruyff's signature on the side of each shoe. Elsewhere The Flash Stripe, which draws inspiration from a retro '80s Cruyff Sports trainer, and Side Flag are said to be amongst the most popular in the range because of their ultra comfortable indoor sole with latex footbed. Cruyff says his philosophy behind the collection has been to develop a brand that's both functional and stylish. Already established across Europe and Japan, the collection is due to launch fully across the UK this season and is available in Selfridges and Harrods from March 2010.
