Angelos Epithemiou dropped by the Soccer AM studios to talk Shooting Stars and Vic and Bob!
Angelos has the studio in stitches!
Angelos Epithemiou dropped by
Soccer AM on Saturday to the delight of everyone in the studio and no doubt those watching at home too!
The Shooting Stars... erm... star has been keeping score on Vic and Bob's show since last year, following his stint as a permanent member of Team B in series six.
Angelos, aka Dan Renton Skinner of sketch troupe Dutch Elm Conservatoire, has become a favourite amongst fans of the show - so much so, in fact, that he has embarked on a national tour.
His brilliant impersonations and oddball character have found a place in the nation's hearts but he admitted he wasn't happy about having to perform!
"I've got to do it because I owe a lot of people a lot of money," he told
Soccer AM.
"It's basically one joke, a dance and an impression and then I pad that out for about an hour and half.
"Then in the second bit I've got a quiz and the prize for that if you win is a back stage tour with me!
"Which is a prize that money cannot buy... unless you pay me and I'll take you back there."
The former burger van owner was also less than enthusiastic about his role on Shooting Stars and in particular having to work with Vic and Bob!
"A lot has been made of me DJing, but that's only one thing that I do" he said
"I do the DJing and I also do the scoring, which is my main job and then my other job is to just mess about.
"I don't like (Bob) very much. He is what you would call a member of the lucky club. He's done very very well with nothing old Mortimer - so pick the bones out of that!
"Vic's got talent. I would say he's quite funny, he's certainly funny to look at and he's got a bit going on upstairs.
"But the pair of them together, I mean I don't know if you've seen the show or not, but it is very babyish, very babyish. It's not my cup of tea really."
Naturally Helen and Max had lots more questions for him, including...
How did he get the gig on Shooting Stars?
Is he looking forward to presenting the NME awards?
And... how are things going with him and Ulrika Jonsson!?
