Sheffield Steelers extended their 100 per cent run at the start of the Elite League season with an 8-0 hammering of Edinburgh Capitals.
Neil Clark and skipper Jonathan Phillips both hit hat-tricks as the Steelers killed off the contest by surging into a 4-0 lead by the end of the first period.
Phillips opened the scoring after only 32 seconds before Joey Talbot added a second at 11.48, Phillips scored again on a powerplay at 15.33 and Clark struck at 16.09.

High-flying
Nottingham Panthers were stunned at home by Elite League new boys
Braehead Clan, who claimed an unlikely 4-3 victory.
The Clan were never caught after taking a 3-0 lead inside the opening 10 minutes of action. Dominic Noel scored with only seconds on the clock before Bobby Chaumont and Cody Bostock added to the lead.
The reeling Panthers finally recovered and Jade Galbraith pulled one back at 11.26, but Clan goaltender J F Perras prevented any hopes of a comeback in the second period.
The hosts did bring themselves to within one goal after Davis-Alexandre Beauregard scored but former Panther Brendan Cook restored the advantage before David Clarke made it a tight finish.
