Redemption the third rookie was eliminated from the season as Lucky Cannon finally ran out of fortune and bowed out the competition. After being pushed heavily on the show during his feud with Yoshi Tatsu and short term union with Maryse, it seemed Cannon was set for bigger things but he finished bottom of the third poll of this series. His departure leaves Titus O'Neil as the clear favourite ahead of Darren Young and Conor O'Brian heading into the final weeks of contest. Cannon, a former Sheriff's Deputy, also lost one of his few fans in Maryse, as she said goodbye with a slap after announcing the purse he bought for her was only worth $5 and not the $3500 he had promised. He headed up the entrance ramp declaring he should be on Friday Night SmackDown beating up Randy Orton such is his importance to the company. O'Neil led the WWE Universe to a rendition of "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" by Steam, something which is proving a popular stunt to pull on the departure of a competitor, as we saw when Edge left SmackDown last year and when Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler were fired from the show. Cannon also lost his final match to runaway season leader O'Neil, who pinned him after his Clash of Titus Sitout Spinebuster. Young picked up an impressive victory over Pro Tatsu thanks to the help of his mentor Chavo Guerrero. Chavo jumped up onto the ring apron to distract the Japanese livewire allowing Young to slam him onto the mat and pick up the three count. The only challenge in this week's show was the 'Talk the Talk' contest which handed another three valuable 'redemption points' to O'Neil. He leads with a massive 22 points, compared to Young's seven and O'Brian's three.
